Time of day
To identify which locations are best for your stakeholders, you’ll need to know where their journey starts, their transport mode and the time of day they’re planning to travel. It’s not surprising that public transport options are more widely available at 2.30pm as opposed to 2.30am, and because transport access varies so much across the 24-hour period, location-based search results will vary widely too. This is why MinuteMapr enables users to specify the time of day, to identify which locations are best for different points in the day. It lets your visitor pick the specific time of day they want or can calculate timings based on a 24-hour average.
To ensure our time of day data is as accurate as possible, we use local timetables and traffic information. Our driving data is calculated using peak and off peak times, as well as weekday and weekend data specific for the route required.
